Tethered Blimps

Tethered Blimps are used for advertising a brand, product or promotion.

The blimps we sell can be custom printed, or be fitted with banners. While the custom printed blimps have a great finish, the bannered blimps ability to change messages is very powerful.

The larger the blimp, the stronger the winds it can handle. Standard blimps range from 4 - 10 meters (13 - 32 feet) in length, our most popular blimps are 5 meters / 17ft long.
Both the body and tail fins on the blimps can be made in a variety of colors.

Helium Balls
Helium Balls come in a variety of sizes from 5ft up to 20ft in diameter.
The balls should be painted or have vinyl lettering applied.

3.9m (13 ft) Blimps
The 13ft blimps are the smallest we build in the tethered range. The advertising can be painted on the blimp, or vinyl letters attached. The 13ft blimps can be fitted with banners for the convenience of changing the messages.

Height - 1.8 meters
Volume - 3.5 cubic meters or 130 cubic feet
Winds - 10knts, 11mph, 15km/hr
Banner Size - 2.0 x 1.2 meters

5.0m (17ft) Blimps
The 17ft Blimps are the most popular selling tethered blimp available. Camera's can be attached to this type of blimp for aerial photography. Internal lighting can be placed in this blimp for night illumination.

Length - 5.0 meters, 17ft
Height - 1.6 meters, 5.5ft
Volume - 8 cubic meters or 300 cubic feet
Winds - 15knts, 16mph, 20km/hr
Banner Size - 2.2 x 1.2 meters, 7ft x 3.5ft

6.0m (20ft) Blimps
The 20ft blimps . Camera's can be attached to this type of blimp for aerial photography. Internal lighting can be placed in this blimp for night illumination.

Height - 2.1 meters, 7ft
Volume - 13.5 cubic meters or 500 cubic feet
Winds - 15knts, 16mph, 20km/hr

10m (32.8ft) Blimps
The 30ft blimps require special handling procedures. When used for advertising, winches are required for the blimp to be raised and lowered.

Length - 10 meters, 30ft
Height - 3 meters, 10ft
Volume - 30 cubic meters or 1100 cubic feet
Banner Size - 6 x 3 meters, 20ft x 10ft
Carrying Capacity - 10 Kg, 20lbs at Sea Level and Standard Temperature

Although we can manufacture/pattern make a sphere to almost any size, below are some commonly available sizes.

1.5m (5ft) Spheres
Length/Height - 1.5m / 5ft
Volume - 1.75 cubic meters or 62 cubic feet

2.0m (7ft) Spheres
Length/Height - 2m / 6ft8inches
Volume - 4 cubic meters or 150 cubic feet

2.4m (8ft) Spheres
Length/Height -2.4m / 8ft
Volume - 7 cubic meters or 260 cubic feet

3.0m (10ft) Spheres
Length/Height - 3.0m / 10ft
Volume - 14 cubic meters or 530 cubic feet

4.5m (14ft) Spheres
Length/Height - 4.5m / 15ft
Volume - 47 cubic meters or 1770 cubic feet
